5 out of 5 stars Great little book   February 8, 2008

This book is really helpful in everyday practice. Well-organized with extensive lists that won't let you forget the uncommon problems that show up. I love the pocket size, so I can carry it with me as I work at more than one veterinary practice. I highly recommend this for veterinary students as well as seasoned practitioners who think they've seen it all.

I use this a lot for laboratory value abnormalities. It helps me come up with diseases to pursue that I may not have considered. This is a quick reference so you don't miss something when you're in a hurry.

I think this book is a great quick and easy reference for vet students and I still use it as an intern in an academic institution. An easy way to help start formulating your differential list.

I'm glad I got it. I'm a 4th yr vet student. Great for adding to your DDX list and for ideas. Between this and the 5-Minute Consult, you're in pretty good shape.
