Product Description
Cat owners can care for their felines from kittenhood to old age through a safe and natural system using the flower remedies created by Dr. Edward Bach in the 1930s. This book explores how this healing therapy treats ailments with different flora and can be applied to cats to ease their mental stress, worry, and other emotional problems. Individuals can gain a closer understanding with their cats and spare them from unnecessary medications and drugs in the process. The book delves into the background of the 38 different Bach flower remedies and their applications in animal health, and it also addresses commonly asked questions about cat behavior.

5 out of 5 stars Rescue Remedies for cats!   April 19, 2008

This book helped me so much, in trying to find out why my cat was pulling her fur out. We, along with our Vet, had tried everything, and nothing seemed to work. A friend recommended I try Dr. Bach`s Rescue Remedy, that is used to calm people and pets. I tried it, and then bought this book from Amazon.com. I found answers I needed, in this book, and went to their web site to send an email, asking if they had a remedy for cats pulling out their fur. They recommended two remedies, which I ordered. My cat has finally stopped pulling out her fur, and seems much more happy now! This is a very helpful book, and I highly recommend it to anyone who has cats.

I have been a believer in Bach Rescue remedy for people and animals for a long time. Recently I was fostering a beautiful kitten who was very withdrawn. I bought this book in hopes of finding specific flower remedies for him. It had several suggestions which I followed. He is much more outgoing and now wants to be with a human companion if at all possible. Unfortunately he still needs a forever home but that just takes time.

I found this book when searching in desperation for something to help my 17 year old kitty who was fading. The book is beautifully written: clear, concise, easy to work with, and provides such helpful information one can get started immediately.

Thanks to the information and ease of access, my kitty has revived considerably and seems likely to stick around for a while longer.

The authors make it clear, very rightly, that Bach remedies do NOT address physical conditions. They do, however, support the emotional and energy resources that make healing achievable. In combination with good veterinary care this book is a goldmine.

(And the authors explain how the remedies apply to humans, too, so you are getting double-value!)

HIGHLY recommended

5 out of 5 stars Great Book!   August 27, 2010

This is a great book, "Bach Flower Remedies for Cats", and after reading it I decided to experiment in attempting to calm my very macho (but neutered) cat down. Eight drops at each meal, mixed in with food for about four or five days and his behavior began to
even out. He's still his wonderful, intense, playful, possessive, and very loving self, but has evened out from his overly aggressive behavior towards my other, very sweet, cat. Vine is a great remedy, and he'll continue on this program until he's stable, and I would recommend this book to all cat owners, as it offers great advice on how to help your loving companion.

And if you have similar tendencies, the remedy Vine is good for you too!
